யுத்த காண்டம்

எஸ்.ராஜம் வால்மீகி ராமாயண நூலிற்கு வரைந்த பத்து ஓவியங்களில் எட்டாம் ஓவியத்தைப் பார்ப்போம். அதற்குப் பொருத்தமான கம்பனின் பாடலையும் பார்ப்போம்.  இந்த நூல் ( இரண்டாம் பதிப்பு)  கலைமகள் ஆசிரியர் நாராயணசாமி ஐயரால்  1958 -இல் வெளியிடப் பட்டது.

அந்த நூலில் மேலே உள்ள ராஜம் அவர்களின் படத்தின் அடியில் வால்மீகியின் இந்த ஸ்லோகம் காணப் படுகிறது.

अशोकजैः प्रीतिमयैः कपिमालिङ्ग्य सम्भ्रमात् || 

सिषेच भरतः श्रीमान् विपुलैरश्रुबिन्दुभिः |

"Embracing Hanuma with eagerness, the illustrious Bharata bathed him with copious tear-drops born of delight and as such, other than those born of anguish."

அழும்; நகும்; அனுமனை ஆழிக் கைகளால் 

தொழும்; எழும்; துள்ளும், வெங் களி துளக்கலால்; 

விழும் அழிந்து; ஏங்கும்; போய் வீங்கும்; வேர்க்கும்; அக்

குழுவொடும் குனிக்கும்; தன் தடக் கை கொட்டுமால். 

அழும் - அழுவான்; 

நகும்- சிரிப்பான்;  

ஆழிக் கைகளால் அனுமனை  தொழும் -  மோதிரம்  உள்ள கையால் அனுமனைத் தொழுவான்; 

எழும் -   எழுவான்;   

வெங்களி   துளக்கலால் துள்ளும் - விரும்பும் மகிழ்ச்சி அவனை அசைப்பதால் துள்ளித் துடிப்பான்; 

அழிந்து  விழும் -  உடனே  சோர்ந்து  விழுவான்;

ஏங்கும்-   இரங்குவான்;   

போய்  வீங்கும்  -   மேற்சென்று பூரிப்பான்;  

வேர்க்கும்  -   வியர்ப்பான்;   

அக்குழுவொடும் குனிக்கும் -   மகிழும்   கூட்டத்தாருடனே  நடமிடுவான்; 

தன தடக்கை கொட்டும் - தனது நீண்ட கைகளைத் தட்டுவான்.
