அலெக்சாண்டர் டூமா என்ற பிரெஞ்சு எழுத்தாளருக்கும் இதே நினைவு தினம். என்ன விசித்திரம்! கல்கிக்கு பிடித்த எழுத்தாளர்களில் அவரும் ஒருவர். கல்கியின் பொன்னியின் செல்வனில்  டூமாவின் D'Artagnan - இன் தாக்கத்தை வந்தியத்தேவனிலும், Milady de Winter -ஐ நந்தினியிலும் ... இன்னும் பிறவும்  பார்க்கலாம்.

பொன்னியின் செல்வன் படித்தவர்கள் யாவரும் அலெக்சாண்டர் டூமாவின் நாவல்களை படிக்க வேண்டும் !  கல்கியின் நாவல்கள் போலவே, டூமாவின் நாவல்களும் வலையில் கிட்டும்!
