5 மார்ச். ஜோசப் ஸ்டாலினின் நினைவு தினம். இப்போது ஒரு போர் . . . ரஷியா-உக்ரைன் போர் .  .  நடந்து கொண்டிருக்கும் கவலைதரும் உலகச் சூழ்நிலை. 

இன்னொரு போர் . .  இரண்டாம் உலகப் போர் . . . நடந்து கொண்டிருக்கும்போது ரஷியாவின் ஜோசப் ஸ்டாலின் பற்றி ஏதேனும் தமிழ்க் கட்டுரை வந்ததா என்று தேடினேன். இதோ 'சக்தி'யில் 1940 இல் வந்த ஒரு மொழியாக்கம்!

பாரத சக்தி மஹாகாவியம் -  1

சுத்தானந்த பாரதி 

 இராஜராஜன் விருது  என்பது தமிழக அரசும் தஞ்சைத் தமிழ்ப்பல்கலைக் கழகமும் இணைந்து வழங்கும் ஒரு விருது . 1984-இல் முதன்முறையாகத் தன் ' பாரத சக்தி மஹாகாவியம்' என்ற மகத்தான நூலுக்காகச் சுத்தானந்த பாரதியார் இந்த விருதைப் பெற்றார். அரவிந்த ஆஸ்ரமத்தில் 20 வருட மௌன வாழ்க்கையில் பிறந்த மகா காவியம் இது. 'சக்தி'யில் 1939-இல் வந்த அதன்  தொடக்கப் பகுதியை இங்கே வெளியிடுகிறேன்.

நூல் வடிவில் கிட்டும் இந்தக் காவியத்தில் , பாரதியாரின் பொழிப்புரை காணப்படுவதில்லை. 'சக்தி' இதழில் மட்டுமே இந்த பொழிப்புரை முதல் சில பகுதிகளுக்குக் காணப்படுகிறது.  அதனால், இந்த 'சக்தி' பக்கங்கள் மேலும் முக்கியத்துவம் பெறுகின்றன.
