விண்ணில் எய்தேன் அம்பொன்றை --மண்ணில்
. . வீழ்ந்த தெங்கோ; தெரியவில்லை
கண்பின் தொடர முடியாத -- கடிய
. . கதியில் கணையும் பறந்ததுவே.
விண்ணில் உயிர்த்தேன் பாடலொன்றை -- மண்ணில்
. . வீழ்ந்த தெங்கோ; தெரியவில்லை.
கண்வலு நுட்பம் எவர்க்குண்டு -- பறந்த
. . கானப் பயணம் தொடர்வதற்கு?
கண்டேன் பலநாள் கழிந்தபின்னர் -- உடையாக்
. . கணையை ஆல மரமொன்றில்
கண்டேன் மீண்டும் முழுப்பாடல் -- என்றன்
. . நண்பன் ஒருவன் இதயத்தில் .
