1944-இல் ;கல்கி'யில் முதல்பரிசு பெற்ற அவர் கதை இதோ. இதற்குப் பின் தான் அவர் 'கல்கி'யில் வேலைக்குச் சேர்ந்தார்.

மது ஒழிப்பு

பசுபதி

குட்டிச் சுவராய்ப் போகும் அய்யா

குடியில் மூழ்கும் நாடு!

சட்ட திட்டம் போதா துங்க

சாரா யத்தை ஒழிக்க!

வெட்டிப் பேச்சு மேடைப் பேச்சால்

வெற்றி வந்தி டாது!

திட்ட வட்ட மாகச் சொல்றேன்

திருந்தும் வழியும் ஒன்றே!

பட்ட துன்பம் சொல்லும் ஜனங்க

பள்ளி எல்லாம் சென்று

சுட்டிப் பசங்க மனத்தில் உண்மை

சுட்டுப் போட வேணும்

குட்டிப் பசங்க வீடு போயி

குடியின் கேடு சொன்னால்

புட்டி போடும் வீடும் மாறும்

புள்ளை கெஞ்சல் கேட்டே!
